“If you take a significant amount of a man's sperm and you put it on low heat, eventually it will solidify and give the consistency of egg whites,” Mistress Lucifina details, alluding to her first-ever gig as a fetish worker.
In a dingy motel with a fellow highschooler, Mistress Lucifina walked in on a couple already having sex. Unsure of what to do, she was handed a cast iron and directed to cook the impending ejaculation and then feed it to one of the participants.
“It took a lot for me to hold back laughter,” she said. “After I had fed her, I really thought about it, and was like, ‘I don't hate this, this is kind of hilarious. I wonder what else is out there.” Mistress Lucifina left the motel that day with a handful of cash and an experience that would mark the beginning of her career.
Mistress Lucifina is a fetish worker, a profession under the umbrella of sex-work, that is also known by the title of “dominatrix” and “provider.” As a fetish worker, she deals with a multitude of different fetishes throughout her day-to-day, from golden-showering (urine-focused fetish), to trampling (a pain-exploration-focused fetish) to foot fetishes (you get the gist). She sponsors play parties, attends sex conventions and heads a “family” of dommes, all while being a top-earner at Footspot, a NYC-based business that offers basic foot fetish sessions.
From Desk to Dungeon
Her immersion into the world of continuous fetish work actually happened years after the cum omelet. A first-year college student, she was approached by a woman at a party who said she had the look of someone “who has seen a lot of shit, done a lot of shit, and can handle a lot of shit.” After some conversation, that woman — a practicing dominatrix — offered Mistress Lucifina her first real position in the industry: the paid role of a “shadow” - basically, a domme’s assistant who performs tasks such as laundry, appointment scheduling and dungeon cleaning. Shadows also get the opportunity to learn the ropes (and chains and whips) of the industry.
“So I'm thinking: Struggling college student, $1,000 a week? It's not a bad idea for me. And I was already thinking about my past experience,” referencing the cum omelet, to which Mistress Lucifina thought to herself, “If I can do that, I think I can do this…It was just all fascinating for me.”
Thus began her balancing act: a full-time university student by day, a dominatrix-shadow by night. In some ways, her worlds were very separate, moonlighting as a dominatrix shadow in a dungeon two bus-rides away from her religious, conservative university campus. In other ways, however, her worlds converged: She brought flashcards to her first kink parties, flipping through them at rapid speed to review different kinks and fetishes — a truly studious “baby domme.”
Not your typical Mother
After shadowing for three years, Mistress Lucifina eventually broke off and started working independently, which later developed into starting her own family of dommes. Though she originally didn’t think she wanted any children, Mistress Lucifina currently “mothers” seven shadows of her own — but applies a much different approach than other domme-moms she has experienced in the industry.
First: a little lesson on domme fams. She is the headmistress of a “house,” which, she informed me, is not a physical house, but figurative language the community uses to identify a group or domme “family.” The rules of each house vary depending on who runs it. In the last decade of her work, Mistress Lucifina has witnessed a range of house rules she has found inappropriate and wrong, which is why she takes such a loving approach to dominatrix mothering.
“I want all of them to understand that there is someone like me who's willing to help them, regardless of money, regardless of looks, regardless of gender, regardless of religion, any type of background, as long as you're willing to put in the hard work that is the only thing that matters,” she said. “They have so much potential, and I want to create opportunities for them to be in this industry with me for a long time.”
Fetishes of a fetish worker
Apart from her managerial role of setting up her children with clients and aiming to establish longevity for them in the industry, a prioritized duty for Mistress Lucifina in being both a mom-domme and a fetish worker is being a teacher, fostering an environment for her children and clients to learn about what they like, what they don’t like and how they want to express themselves.
Over the years, she has certainly learned what strokes her own fancy, but it might not meet the preconceived notions people have. “As someone who does work with so many fetishes, you would think that I would have a lot myself. But funny enough, I really don't. I'm very vanilla compared to my clients,” she said.
Even well into her career, Mistress Lucifina was still learning about what her personal fetishes were. She discovered she is a voyeur, and likes to attend play parties to watch others engage in sex. She also has a foot fetish of her own, but it is not a typical one that she has seen in men: In her words, “I love having my feet worshiped, I love having my toes sucked. Just being treated like the goddess I am.”
Another fetish that she claims to have been her “downfall” is trichophilia, which she described as being attracted to men with long hair (....I feel your pain, sister). As someone with a performance background — attending frequent broadway and ballet shows as a child, and attending college for vocal performance — she also identifies as an exhibitionist, or someone with an affinity for “putting on a show.”
Mistress Lucifina’s journey from an unsure college student to a seasoned dominatrix offers a rare glimpse into a world few dare to explore, let alone master. Her blend of professionalism, compassion, and curiosity challenges the stigma surrounding fetish work, revealing it as a domain of empowerment, respect and self-discovery.
Whether she's teaching her shadows, redefining the dynamics of domme families, or embracing her own evolving desires, Mistress Lucifina shows that the path to fulfillment isn’t always conventional. Her work is proof that success isn’t always about following the recipe; sometimes it’s about flipping expectations like an unconventional omelet and serving up something truly unique.
